Two big wins for CFC at Insurance Times Awards 2025

We’re proud to take home Gold for Excellence in Underwriting and Marketing Campaign of the Year at last night’s Insurance Times Awards, thanks to the success of our multi-channel Cyber Proactive Response marketing campaign, Cyber Masterclass video learning series, and groundbreaking Startup Technology Underwriting Scheme for brokers.

Our team ended the year on a high, bringing home two gold trophies at the Insurance Times Awards 2025.

CFC won Gold for the Excellence in Underwriting category, following the success of our Startup Technology Scheme for brokers. Our new scheme has helped re-imagine underwriting for early-stage startups – an underserved and hard-to-place segment yet which has so much potential for risk transfer and growth.

The scheme reduces friction, blends core cover with emerging risk protections and even includes a pioneering feature that keeps startups trading if funding is lost after a cyber event. It delivers faster decisions, clarity for brokers and broader market access – all key elements of this category.

In marketing we were also proud to be awarded Gold in the Marketing Campaign of the Year category for our innovative approach to tackling low cyber insurance penetration among SMEs and bridging the cyber knowledge gap for brokers.

Our Cyber Proactive Response campaign combined a market-first product launch with a multi-channel educational strategy, driving tangible business results and broker engagement. It was a campaign that exemplified innovation, impact, and original thinking in UK insurance marketing.
